Our speech pathology clinic is a friendly environment, where your child’s needs will be supported by our primary speech pathologist, Samantha Tate.

Samantha Tate is a qualified speech pathologist who is committed to providing evidence-based therapy to the families she works with. Samantha is also a Clinical Educator, and has experience with training Speech Pathology students. Samantha is trained in:

  • The Hanen Centre “It Takes Two to Talk” – engaging parents in their child’s early language intervention.

  • Key Word Sign - using manual sign and natural gesture to support communication.

  • SOS Approach to Feeding – a clinical program for helping fussy eaters to develop a healthy and enjoyable relationship with food.

  • The Lidcombe Program - a behavioural treatment for young children who stutter.

  • Social Thinking – helping children build their social skills.

  • DIR Floortime.

  • The Spalding Method – an evidence-based, explicit, systematic and multi sensory approach to teaching literacy skills.

  • BLADES Language Therapy - a framework for language therapy in children.

  • Early Screening and Transition to Preschool workshop via Autism Spectrum Australia

  • Sensory Processing Disorder workshop via Child Sense Occupational Therapy

  • Infant Feeding Foundations Workshop – understanding feeding and oral development, assessment and treatment for feeding difficulties, including breastfeeding, bottle feeding and early solids difficulties.

Aurora Henke is an experienced Allied Health Assistant, who is passionate about helping children achieve their goals. Aurora is bubbly and friendly, and believes in making therapy fun for all children. Aurora enjoys supporting children and their families, and has a commitment to continuously learning and developing her skills through professional education. Aurora is trained in:

  • DIR Floortime.

  • Registered Behaviour Technician (Behaviour Therapy).

  • Preschool Language Accelerator.

Cinzia Genua is a qualified Speech Pathologist. Cinzia is motivated and determined to help support children with communication and feeding difficulties, using evidence-based practice, whilst making it fun, motivating and engaging. Cinzia is trained in:

Hilary Smith is a qualified Speech Pathologist who is committed to providing individualised, evidence-based therapy when working with children and their families. Hilary strives for fun, effective, and meaningful therapy that will help children reach their goals and will create a positive impact in their everyday lives. Hilary is trained in:

  • The Lidcombe Program for Stuttering

  • The Science of Reading

Thuy Nguyen is a qualified Speech Pathologist who is dedicated to providing family-centred and evidence-based therapy within her work for children of all ages. Thuy is passionate about supporting children to reach their communication goals through a holistic approach, whilst ensuring therapy is enjoyable and interactive. Thuy understands the importance of fostering positive relationships through collaboration with families and other therapists to support children’s communication. Thuy is trained in:
